This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their families.

In this role, you will hold and manage a complex and varied caseload with the appropriate guidance and supervision. Your work will be grounded in a strengths-based approach, tailoring all assessments and conversations to meet the unique needs of each individual. You will use professional judgment, evidence-based tools, critical reflection, and analysis to inform complex decision-making and manage risk effectively.

Key responsibilities include conducting mental capacity and best interests' assessments, ensuring findings are recorded in a timely manner in line with Mental Capacity legislation. You will lead safeguarding enquiries in accordance with the Care Act 2014, ensuring completion within required timescales and sharing outcomes with relevant parties. Additionally, you will undertake direct work with individuals, carers, and families, collaborating with interagency safeguarding adults' teams to achieve the best outcomes.

You will be expected to participate in a duty system and ensure that reports are of high quality, up-to-date, and submitted within agreed timeframes. Effective communication is essential, particularly in complex or high-risk situations, and you will escalate concerns to senior management as appropriate.

This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, balancing a commitment to promoting independence with safeguarding responsibilities. You will deliver tailored support plans, coordinate services, and ensure all work aligns with legislative frameworks and best practices.

As part of this position, there is an expectation to work three days per week from the office, and candidates must hold a valid driver's license to facilitate community-based work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional who is ready to make a tangible impact while advancing their career. If you are committed to excellence in social work practice and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply.
