We're looking to recruit a number of experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officers in the Merseyside region to support our well-established Social Housing client on a temporary basis, with hourly rates up to £26ph.

Your new role

  • Investigating reports & complaints of anti-social behaviour, domestic violence, nuisance and other tenancy breaches
  • Completing all casework for legal proceedings, including taking witness statements, gathering evidence and presenting evidence in court
  • Implementing early interventions to tackle & resolve ASB and working in partnership with external agencies & key stakeholders
  • Preparing witnesses for court attendance and presenting evidence, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date casenotes are recorded in the housing management system
  • Providing additional support and guidance to colleagues in the Neighbourhoods team to tackle low level ASB & nuisance

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of managing a caseload of ASB, DV and other tenancy breach cases, including preparing witness statements, gathering evidence and self-representation in court
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legal frameworks, legislation and best practice in the field
  • Ability to manage risk, implement strategies, policies and new interventions
  • Resilience and strong influential & negotiation skills
