An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist to join the Urgent Therapy Team in Liverpool. This is a full-time position, although part-time applications will also be considered. The role offers an excellent rate of pay, ranging from £23 to £27 per hour, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing reablement and rehabilitation support to individuals within the community, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. The position involves working with a diverse caseload, supporting people with various health conditions and rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide therapy interventions for individuals in need of reablement and rehabilitation.
  • Work with patients to enhance functional independence and improve quality of life.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
  • Conduct assessments, provide tailored interventions, and monitor progress.
  • Support patients in community settings, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience in reablement or rehabilitation settings is desirable.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-centred approach.
