Overview:
As an Advanced Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and their families. You will act as a lead professional, providing expert knowledge, guidance, and support to colleagues, while managing complex caseloads. This role requires a strong commitment to safeguarding, collaborative working, and improving outcomes for children and families.
Key Requirements:Qualifications: A degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
Experience: Significant post-qualification experience (3+ years), particularly in childrens services, and a proven ability to handle complex and high-risk cases.
Knowledge:
A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures (e.g., Children Act 1989/2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children).
Strong grasp of child development, attachment theory, and the impact of trauma.
Skills:
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong ability to manage competing demands and remain resilient under pressure.
It is essential that all candidates are car drivers and have access to a vehicle

We offer:
an initial 3-month minimum contract to create stability for our children and young people
up to £42 per hour ltd, based on experience
A 35-hour week . Hybrid working model, 3 days in Liverpool City region per week
