Liverpool Children’s Services is committed to improving our services to ensure that we are providing the best service possible for children, young people and families.

The candidate must be an experienced Auditor / Quality Assurance Officer, with a strong career background in SEND.

This post is responsible for ensuring all audit and quality assurance activity within SEND, is effective to support good services and outcomes for children working within the Performance & Quality Assurance Framework and to undertake case audits, thematic audits and dip sampling in all services - including feedback from children and families.

The role will support the Quality Assurance and SEND Heads of Service to design, develop, deliver and implement an audit and quality assurance programme for Children’s Services (across Children’s Social Care and Education-SEND), ensuring that the themes that emerge are fully reflected in learning and development programmes.

It will support the improvement plan in delivering, maintaining and scrutinising measurable improvements in quality across SEND and Children's Social Care.

35 Hours Per Week - Minimum 2 days per week in office in central Liverpool.
