Our Client, Liverpool City Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Front Door Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- The Duty and Assessment Teams provide a response to children who have experienced/or are at risk of significant harm or where there are significant welfare concerns.
- The team are responsible for completing child and family assessments, and/or provide a more immediate response if a child is believed to be at risk of significant harm, following a strategy meeting.
- If the child requires longer term support, they are allocated a social worker from a locality team.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
- Must have minimum of 2 years experience working as a Qualified social worker in a similar team
