The RoleWe're looking for a Mental Health Qualified Social Worker to join a dedicated team providing targeted support to individuals facing mental health challenges. With manageable caseloads, you'll have the time to focus on quality interventions, delivering meaningful change without burnout. Key Responsibilities:? Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine service eligibility and individual needs.? Develop and implement tailored support plans, working closely with clients, families, and partner agencies.? Provide direct support and crisis intervention, empowering individuals to build resilience and self-sufficiency.? Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community teams, and third-sector organizations to coordinate effective care.? Maintain accurate case records and reports, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.? Advocate for clients' rights and best interests within multidisciplinary settings.? Stay up to date with mental health legislation and safeguarding protocols to deliver high-quality interventions.
What We're Looking For:? A Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).? Registered with Social Work England.? Experience in mental health social work, community mental health teams, or related fields.
Key Skills:? Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport.? Empathy and resilience in supporting individuals facing complex challenges.? Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage risk effectively.? Solid knowledge of mental health legislation, safeguarding, and best practices.? Ability to manage a caseload effectively while focusing on high-quality interventions.
