The Role

We are looking for an AS-MASH Qualified Social Worker to join a well-structured Adult MASH Team. This is an opportunity to focus on assessments and decision-making rather than ongoing case management, allowing you to make a real impact without the pressure of a heavy caseload.This is an opportunity to work in a supportive environment, focusing on protecting adults at risk of abuse or neglect through multi-agency collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments to determine the most appropriate safeguarding response, ensuring adults at risk receive timely protection.
  • Work closely with police, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies to coordinate interventions, creating a collaborative safeguarding approach.
  • Provide expert safeguarding advice in strategy discussions, influencing critical decisions that enhance adult protection.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and policies, maintaining professional standards and delivering best practice in safeguarding.
  • Record and analyse key information, contributing to intelligence-led decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
  • A Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in adult safeguarding and multi-agency work.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures.
Key Skills:
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills to identify risk early.
  • Strong multi-agency working skills to drive effective outcomes.
  • Resilience and empathy when working with complex cases.
