Randstad are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker/Children's Workforce Academy Lead to join Liverpool City Council's Practice Academy. This is a full time role, offering £46 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong experience in Children's Service, having previously managed and supervised social workers.
  • Will have good understanding in workforce development and training.
  • Will be motivated, inspired and creative in their working approach and have the passion to drive the Academy forward.
  • Will support the Head of Service of Workforce Development and Learning.
  • Support and lead Workforce Development from a practice perspective across Children's Services.
  • Provide leadership to all Practice Development Officers and Workforce Coordinators in the team.
  • Recruit, induct and train team members.
  • Develop and deliver robust training programmes across the workforce i.e. ASYE / Apprenticeships / Step-up's.
  • Coordinate, plan, design and evaluate training opportunities for all learners.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Social Work England registered

Experience:

  • Children
  • Experienced Practice Educator.
