We're currently working on an exciting Locum Social Work opportunity based in the Liverpool area. The team require a social worker to provide targeted support to vulnerable children and young people who are identified as being at risk of family breakdown and on the cusp of step up to LON4.

Responsibilities:
- Target support to children who are living in kinship or family care arrangement and are at risk of family breakdown, struggling with emotional and behavioural difficulties, experiencing neglect, domestic abuse, parental mental health or substance/alcohol misuse issues.
To be considered for the Social Worker ideally you will have:
- 1-3 years' ideally working within Early Help, Children in Need or Child Protection
- Experience of completing holistic, child centred assessments and creating outcome focused, child centred plans would be beneficial.
- Counselling qualification with either adults or children (desirable but not essential)
- BSc Social Work or equivalent
- Social Work England registration
