Cameron McKenzie at Randstad is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council's Children in Care / Children Looked After Team. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of £42 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex Children in Care (CIC) and Children Looked After (CLA) cases.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for children.
  • Undertake Section 20 and Section 31 care proceedings.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the well-being and safety of children.
  • Conduct regular reviews to monitor the progress of children in care.
  • Ensure permanency planning and promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Participate in Looked After Child reviews and liaise with Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs).

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work Degree and registration with Social Work England.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.

Experience:

  • Strong experience working within Children in Care (CIC) or Children Looked After (CLA) teams.
