Team Manager, Early Help Service, LiverpoolOverviewPertemps are recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to lead operations across Liverpool’s Early Help Service. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of consultant social workers, social workers, and outreach family support workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery to families in need. This position is key to the implementation of various grant-funded projects and pilot initiatives within the service, driving effective early intervention and family support strategies.Key Responsibilities
  • Team Oversight: Supervise and support the work of consultant social workers, social workers, and outreach family support workers, maintaining a high standard of service delivery across the Early Help Hubs.
  • Case Management & Triage: Oversee the triage and allocation of referrals, making informed level-of-need decisions to ensure families receive appropriate support.
  • Project Implementation: Support the roll-out and integration of grant-funded projects and pilot programs, aligning them with service goals and community needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor casework quality, ensuring that all staff adhere to established protocols, procedures, and standards in supporting families.
  • Resource Coordination: Ensure effective resource use across the hubs and identify areas for improvement or further support.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing staff within statutory social work or family support settings, particularly in early help or similar environments.
  • Decision-Making: Strong experience in overseeing level-of-need decisions for casework, as well as in managing the triage and allocation of referrals.
  • Project Support: Familiarity with grant-funded projects and early intervention initiatives is beneficial..
  • Commitment to Early Help Principles: A strong understanding of early intervention strategies and family-centred support.
  • Social Work England registered
