The technology
- The IT team have recently reimagined the technical functions of the business with a ‘ground up’ transition of the infrastructure, development, telephony and project management function.
- They have refactored IT security, using secure methodologies and practices to reduce IT security risk.
- They are now planning to leverage the use of cloud technologies, .NET Core and Blazor to transform Software Development performance across their 7 systems.
The role / day to day
- You’ll get to work on a complex range of software systems which help the business run seamlessly covering all aspects of supplier, stock and warehouse management systems to help the business communicate effectively.
- Using the C# .NET Stack you’ll design clean and scalable code that will integrate with third party components.
- You’ll report into the Software Development Manager and work alongside a team of four other .NET Developers who range from Mid Level to Senior. You’ll collaborate with Product Owners and the IT Manager too in achieving business goals.
- Your progression will be prioritised and you’ll set tailored goals with your manager to ensure promotions are hit
Technical requirements
- A few years commercial experience using C#, .NET framework and SQL.
- Knowledge and understanding of Visual Studio IDE.
- Bonus points if you have used JavaScript
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, GraphQL and other types of APIs.
- Understanding of Unit Testing

- Base salary of up to £45,000 with regular pay reviews
