Learning Support Assistant - L16 area

6 month role 

Milk Education are working with a Primary school in the North Liverpool who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in KS1 class.

This Learning Support Assistant role is to support both children and the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom. You must be confident to support the KS1  children working on a one to one basis and in a group capacity as and when required to do so. 

The hours of work are 08:30am- 3.30pm and the hours will be Monday to Friday

This Learning Support Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with anything they need support with including keeping all children on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with Learning and Developing
  • Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Encouraging, Supporting and De-escalating students
  • Being involved across the curriculum, including outdoor learning, PE and Core subjects

We are looking for a Leaarning Support Assistant that is:

  • Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
  • Able to contribute to, and work, as part of a team
  • Reliable and flexible to suit the expectations of our schools
  • Previous experience working within a educational setting or similar - YOu must have worked with children in the last 6 months 
  • Creative, Pro-active and Enthusiastic Individual
  • Able to work under own initiative
