We are seeking a motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dynamic team in Key Stage 2 at a thriving Catholic Primary School. This is a full-time, long-term position offering an exciting opportunity to provide both general classroom support and targeted intervention for pupils who need additional help.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group intervention support to help children achieve their learning goals.
- Assist in managing classroom activities, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Work closely with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress and adapt support accordingly.
- Encourage the social and emotional development of children, promoting a caring and inclusive atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards helping all children succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and take initiative when needed.
