Learning Support Assistant- Halewood L26

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Learning Support Assistant to join an exceptional School located in Halewood, Liverpool to work on a long-term or short-term basis starting as soon as possible! his school is catered for children KS2 and above with additional needs.

You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic enviornemnt for those with additional needs. The needs of the children range from behavioural challenges, SEMH needs, and special educational needs.

This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
  • Deliver catch-up sessions

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
  • Must have a passion for education
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
  • Must have experience using Personal Care
