Learning Support Assistant - Liverpool

Milk Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Liverpool (L7). The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with students who require additional support to access the curriculum, ensuring they receive the assistance and encouragement they need to succeed academically and socially.

Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:

· Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.

· Assist students in understanding and completing classroom assignments and projects.

· Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and confidence.

· Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement effective support strategies.

· Encourage independence and self-confidence in students by promoting self-advocacy skills.

· Assist with classroom management and behaviour support when necessary.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

· Knowledge of and commitment to inclusive education practices.

· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

· Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
