SEN Support Assistant

Milk Education are working with a primary school in the L14 area of Liverpool who are seeking a full-time SEN Support Assistant to work 1-2-1 with a child in Year 1 with Autism & ADHD. This role is starting as soon as possible and will be a full-time role, with the possibility of turning permeanant.

The School are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating to the child’s learning needs for this position. The hours of work are 08:30am- 15:30, Monday- Friday. This role involves keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready and ensure the child’s needs are being met. In this role you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the child.

SEN Support - Role & Responsibilities:

· Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children

· Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

· Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate

· Deliver catch-up sessions

SEN Support- Non-negotiables:

· Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two years

· Must have a passion for education

· Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher

· Must be reliable and punctual
