The Role: As a Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will use your background in sports to engage and motivate students, providing support both in the classroom and in physical activities.
Key responsibilities include: Assisting teachers in delivering lessons, with a focus on using your sports expertise to enrich student engagement. Supporting students social and emotional development, particularly around teamwork, resilience, and discipline. Organising and leading physical activities and promoting an active, healthy lifestyle among students. Collaborating with teaching staff to support students academic and physical growth.

The ideal candidate will have: A recent degree in Sports Science, Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field. Experience coaching or working with young people in sports settings. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate children. A proactive, patient, and positive approach to working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide two professional references related to childcare, education, or coaching.
