This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, or other special educational needs in both classroom and non-classroom settings. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive and structured learning environment, supporting the emotional and academic development of students with SEN. Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support to students, ensuring their educational and social needs are met. Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students remain engaged and on-task. Implement personalised strategies to support challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to monitor and enhance student progress. Requirements: Qualifications: A Teaching Assistant qualification (or higher/equivalent) is preferred. Experience: Prior experience working with SEN children, especially those with Autism or ADHD. Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable; can be provided). Skills: Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills.
