We are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work in a specialist SEN school in Crosby, Liverpool. This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting children with behavioural challenges who are looking to make a real difference in an educational setting.

The Role:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional difficulties
Supporting students to engage with learning and develop positive coping strategies
Working alongside teachers and SEN staff to create a structured and supportive learning environment
Managing behaviour in line with the schools policies and implementing tailored support plans

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
Experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEN needs in a school or similar setting
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build relationships with students
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students
A DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Right to work in the UK

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
