Job Description
Prospero Teaching is currently looking for a Psychology Graduate to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a specialist SEN school in Crosby, Liverpool. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), SEMH, ASD, and other learning difficulties. It is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or SEN teaching.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children with additional needs and will be confident in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour in a classroom setting.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications
A degree in Psychology (or a related field) is highly desirable
Previous experience supporting children with SEN, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to working with students
A DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Right to work in the UK

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
