The School and Role

A primary school in Hunts Cross are looking to appoint a nurturing and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a child who has an EHCP in place for SEMH needs and Autism.  The role will be part-time, working part-time, and will start in September 2024.  The school are looking for a strong teaching assistant with experience of supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism.

You will be well supported in a school which prides itself on maintaining a high staff morale. 

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience working with children with SEND on a 1-1 basis
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
