Your new school
Hays Recruitment are proud to be supporting a single-from entry primary school in South Liverpool that is easily accessible via public transport as they are looking to recruit a motivated and reliable teaching assistant to support in their newly expanded SEN unit. This warm and welcoming Primary school offer fantastic support and already have a great network of TA's in place.


Your new role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your job is to enhance and enrich the learning of the pupils in your care.You will be required to effectively manage the behaviour of pupils, implementing effective strategies to keep them focused in class. You will also be expected to work alongside the class teacher in planning classroom and outdoor activities, ensuring that they suit the needs of individual pupils. With a good knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work with pupils, you will need to be a confident and patient individual who has competent behaviour management skills.


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as recent referenceable experience working with children and young people, as well as:
Experience supporting SEN
Be able to commit to a long-term full-time contract
An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is advantageous but not essential
