We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant and supportive school in South Liverpool.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure each child's needs are met.
  • Support students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties.
  • Help create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment to enable all children to thrive.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting (essential).
  • A caring and patient nature, with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt to individual learning styles and needs.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.
  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN (essential).
