We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to help children thrive both academically and personally in a supportive environment.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work one-to-one and in small groups with pupils who have additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, or SEMH

  • Support students with their learning, behaviour, and emotional development

  • Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Help pupils engage with their education and reach their full potential

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (school-based or personal experience considered)

  • A caring and patient nature with excellent communication skills

  • A proactive, flexible attitude and a willingness to learn

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
