Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to work on a full-time or part-time basis in SEND schools across Liverpool and Sefton.
About the Role:As a Supply Teacher in SEND schools, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of educational settings, supporting students with diverse needs such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities. Whether you're looking for flexibility with part-time hours or full-time consistency, we have the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND
- Adapt teaching styles to accommodate different learning abilities
- Support the educational and emotional development of students
- Collaborate with school staff and SENCOs to provide the best learning environment
- Follow school policies and procedures while creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting SEND students
- A DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one
