About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher in SEND schools, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of educational settings, supporting students with diverse needs such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities. Whether you're looking for flexibility with part-time hours or full-time consistency, we have the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND
  • Adapt teaching styles to accommodate different learning abilities
  • Support the educational and emotional development of students
  • Collaborate with school staff and SENCOs to provide the best learning environment
  • Follow school policies and procedures while creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting SEND students
  • A DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one
