Are you a dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEND supply teachers to work in a range of SEND schools across Liverpool, Sefton, and West Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and to gain experience in a highly rewarding setting.

About the RoleAs a SEND supply teacher, you'll provide support and high-quality education to students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and other complex needs. This role offers the flexibility to work on a day-to-day basis or in short- or long-term placements, depending on your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of SEND students.
  • Work closely with support staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to support a range of learning abilities and needs.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff to support student development.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with SEND students in an educational setting.
  • A calm, patient, and flexible approach with excellent behaviour management skills.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to undertake a new check.
