We’re looking for a passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our team and help shape the future of our students’ communication skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing individual and group therapy, helping students with Autism and communication needs to develop their skills.
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to implement strategies that benefit students across all areas of their education.
  • Supporting the team with expert advice on AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and speech/language development.
  • Tracking progress and celebrating success with the team.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with experience in autism or complex learning needs.
  • Strong knowledge of AAC systems.
  • Great team player who is ready to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and other professionals.
  • Passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.

Desirable:

  • Experience with SCERTS and Social Thinking.
  • Background in creating or implementing speech therapy programs for students with autism.

Role Details:

  • Salary: £34,574 - £39,122 (Actual Salary), NJC Grade 7 (FTE £39,513 - £44,711)
  • Hours: 35 hours per week, Term Time only (39 weeks per year).
  • Working Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm.
  • Contract: Full-time, Term Time only.
  • Relocation Package: May be available for the right candidate (let’s talk!)
