This role focuses on analysing demand trends and providing strategic insights for a leading Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) business. The Demand Analyst will be instrumental in the Procurement & Supply Chain department, ensuring optimum inventory levels and minimising stock shortages. Working alongside a well established team, you'll have the opportunity to develop professionally.

Description
- Analysing demand trends and providing accurate forecasts
- Collaborating closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain team to maintain optimum inventory levels
- Identifying potential stock shortages and devising mitigation strategies
- Providing insights to shape procurement strategies based on demand analysis
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage new product launches
- Maintaining and improving demand forecast accuracy
- Participating in monthly S&OP meetings
- Utilising data analytics tools to improve demand planning processes
Profile
A successful 'Demand Analyst' should have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (able to do Vlookups/Pivot tables!)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain - if you've worked within a Manufacturing business this would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Eager to learn and develop skills within a team environment
