Salary: £45,000-£47,000 basic salary + excellent benefits including generous public sector annual leave entitlement and public sector pension schemeWorking Hours: 36 hours a week, flexitime and flexible working

The Role:The Senior Estates Surveyor will play a key role in the administration, control, and monitoring of our property assets, delivering a comprehensive, commercially oriented, and cost-effective estate management service. You will also lead and manage a team of surveyors, driving excellence and innovation in our operations. Main duties include:

  • Contribute to the delivery of a Service Plan for the team and Asset Management, managed through a performance framework.
  • Provide commercial advice and professional services in the management of land and property, including acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, inspections, valuations, and rating matters.
  • Assist in budget formulation and expenditure monitoring, producing accurate management information for KPI and KPQ reporting.
  • Manage project briefs from Asset Management and other service areas.
  • Provide valuations for statutory and other purposes, particularly for the annual revaluation of our asset base.
  • Ensure compliance with RICS codes, regulations, and our Standing Orders and Scheme of Delegation.
