Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Transport Planner to join our client based in Liverpool, on NIGHT shift. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising transportation operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management, and enhancing customer service. This position requires strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills to effectively manage transport logistics.

Hours - Monday to Friday 5pm to 4amnights

Pay - 32000

Duties

  • Develop and implement transport plans that align with organisational goals and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining high service standards.
  • Analyse supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Utilise software tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel for effective data management and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Monitor transport performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
