We are currently seeking a dedicatedBusMechanicto join our client and play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and safety of their national fleet ofbuses.
PSV Technician /BusMechanic/ HGV Fitter Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections onbuses to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Diagnose and repairmechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any arising issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major faults or defects.
PSV Technician /BusMechanic/ HGV Fitter Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as amechanic, preferably with a focus onbuses or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
