Vehicle Technician

We are looking to broaden our team by hiring an Automotive Technician. We are specialist service providers to the vehicle manufacturing industry and their supply chains, and this is an excellent opportunity for you to join our growing team of contractors.

As a successful Vehicle Technician, you will be able demonstrate that you can perform heavy trim repair and. You must be able to adapt to various job tasks including general bodywork removal and refit, removal and refitting of exterior trims, light mechanical work and general modifications to original vehicle build, glazing repair would be advantageous

  • Perform maintenance and repair on vehicles.
  • Glazing repairs advantageous
  • Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
  • Plan repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems
  • Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
  • Prepared to get additional certification as needed.
  • Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
  • Help keep repair shop clean and organized.
  • Keep a professional appearance.

Qualifications and Experience

Level 3 IMI or equivalent in Light vehicle maintenance and repair.

Experience working on components of modern light motor vehicles

Experience in an automotive environment is essential

A full category B driving licence is essential

Must have own range of Mechanical tools

Our Hourly Rate from £15.00 per hour to £24.94 per hour

This work is contract work - Limited Company or Umbrella.

This role is in the Liverpool area. Commutable from Runcorn, Crewe, Merseyside, Chester, Warrington
