About the role
As a WordPress Web Developer, you will work alongside a team, on a diverse range of projects, from custom theme and plugin development to complex, fully bespoke websites. You'll collaborate closely with their friendly and nurturing team, creating web experiences that deliver exceptional performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
Within your role you will:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Help transform design wireframes and mockups into functional, responsive WordPress sites
- Debug and resolve technical issues across various WordPress environments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices
The successful Wordpress Web Developer will have:
- At least 2 years of experience in WordPress web development
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Familiarity with common WordPress tools
- Experience working with Git version control
- Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization techniques
