Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company in their search for an experienced permanent Pipefitter Welder to work from their Liverpool based workshop.
For the successful Pipefitter Welder our client is offering:
- £24.13 per hour (CIS)
- Weekday Overtime Rate: £26.49 per hour (CIS)
- Weekend Overtime Rate: £30.02 per hour (CIS)
- Core Hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm
- Ongoing temporary contract
The Role: Pipefitter Welder
- Working in a workshop & on various sites in the North West
- Fabricating a range of different products from start to finish
- Pipe fabrication and welding
- TIG and MIG welding on ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- Working from engineering drawings to plan and execute pipefitting tasks for both mechanical and electrical projects.
- Working with steel, stainless and carbon pipe
- Fitting pipes on site
- Pipefitting small and large bore pipe
- Following drawings to fabricate pipes
- Measure, cut, thread, and weld pipes and tubing to specifications.
- Ensure accurate assembly and installation of pipes, valves, fittings, and related equipment
- Conduct regular quality checks.
- Maintain detailed records of work.
What our client is looking for in a Pipefitter Welder
- City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in Welding and Fabrication BENEFICIAL
- Full Driving Licence
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- Coded or previously coded - BENEFICIAL
- Pipefitting experience - ESSENTIAL
- Pipe fabrication experience ESSENTIAL
- Experience with TIG welding ESSENTIAL
- Ability to interpret complex drawings - ESSENTIAL
- Hygiene Pipe Welding Experience - BENEFICIAL
- Strong knowledge of various pipe materials, fittings, and joining methods.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
