Role – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location – Wakefield

Salary - £48 – 51k DOE + plenty of overtime

Shifts – 2 days 2 nights 4 off plus flexi time

Holiday Entitlement - 21 Shifts

ATA Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic client in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. They are fasted growing independent FMCG Manufacturer in Europe. My client is looking for a motivated Electrically qualified Maintenance engineer to help support a busy factory and being involved with new factory machine installs and moves.

You will be joining a team of 12 highly skilled maintenance engineers to undertake planned preventative maintenance – you will be a joining a team with a strong team work ethic and will have ongoing support from the maintenance engineers on shift as well as the engineering manager. Training and development are at the forefront of my client, and they have budgets in place to provide tailor made training to suit you and the business needs.

The Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities as the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • The planned and reactive maintenance and service of all the state-of-the-art kit on site at site.
  • Working as part of a large on-site maintenance engineering team of 12 engineers.
  • Mechanically you will mainly be replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics.
  • Electrical work will include reading through electrical schematics, utilizing electrical test equipment such as multi-meters and fault finding on panels.
  • Interpret engineering drawings

The Person

To be successful in your application for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will need:

  • An electrical NVQ Level 3 qualification, time served
  • Maintenance experience in a high speeds production, manufacturing, FMCG environment is highly desirable but not essential
