Salary: Range £27,000 - £28,000

Base: Livingston (office)

Principle duties - Reporting to Finance Manager

  • Purchase invoicing - From the internal ticketing system, understand the process of Purchase invoices into the inhouse processing system (Lightyear) and tracking system Qtrbck as these feed directly to the Sales invoicing SI process.
  • Sales Invoicing - Understand the in-house Qtrbck system which generates our jobs , runs the daily sales invoicing and profit report.
  • This generates sales invoices from the profit report in XERO accounting software, process and sends to customers.
  • Understand the reconciled consolidated customers daily report
  • Manage the sales ledgers , the Invoice financing process and the reconciliation of both.
  • Chase and collect all debt, invoice financed and sales ledger debt. Achieve monthly invoice financing and sales ledger targets.

Banking and Cash Generation

  • Assign daily sales to Invoice financing system through IF
  • Assist finance manager in daily bank reconciliation and month end bank reports

Month end

  • Reconcile customer portal reports
  • Month end customer consolidation reports
  • Adhoc duties as required

Computer systems

  • Excel - intermediate
  • XERO - Experience an advantage
  • Lightyear - Experience and advantage

Education requirements

Studying / Qualified ICM or HNC/HND in accounting or business
