Job Title: Sales Representative – Signage Industry

£30,000 - £60,000+ (salary negotiable)

Our expertise spans from innovative signage to point-of-sale displays, and we work closely with clients including end-users, designers, architects, and construction firms. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team and drive our continued success in the signage sector.

Role Overview: As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our client base and strengthening relationships with existing customers. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, following up on tenders, providing tailored quotes, and promoting our range of signage products and services. The role is field-based, offering a mix of independent work and collaboration with internal teams to deliver the best solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively follow up on tender opportunities and enquiries, managing your sales pipeline effectively.
  • Provide accurate and competitive quotes based on customer requirements.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with a range of stakeholders, including architects, designers, construction firms, and end-users.
  • Use Barbour ABI to track and manage project leads and opportunities.
  • Identify and secure new business, while also growing existing accounts.
  • Advise customers on the best signage solutions for their needs, offering bespoke products and services.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services.
  • Working with the project installation team to ensure clients projects are delivered on time and to the spec you have agreed.
  • Delivering a tailor made / bespoke package for your clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments.

Ideal Candidate: We are ideally looking for someone with experience in the signage industry or related fields such as branding, point of sale (POS), shop fit-out, graphics or construction. The successful candidate will be driven, with excellent communication skills, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to develop strong customer relationships.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales within signage, branding, POS, shop fit-out, or construction industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Proficiency in using tools like Barbour ABI to track opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to provide tailored quotes and solutions.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and bespoke solutions.
