HGV Class 2 Drivers

£13.65 to £16.40 per hour
The role:
24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for Class 2 Drivers in the Livingston, West Lothian area, for client that we are representing. This will be shuttling goods back and forth depot to depot
This is an ongoing position.
Requirements:
- Professional experience driving a Class 2
- Full UK Driving licence with C+E / Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
- No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV 2 delivery vehicle
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a Class 2 vehicle.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving an HGV vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
