We are seeking a passionate and skilled Temporary Chef to join our team, providing high-quality meals for residents in care homes across West Lothian. This role is ideal for chefs looking for a rewarding temporary position where they can make a positive impact on the lives of care home residents.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare and cook nutritious and delicious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Collaborate with care home staff to create meal plans that meet residents' needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 - £18.00.
