MRD Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Brand Manager, based in Livingston on behalf of our leading Retail client. The successful Brand Manager, based in Livingston will report directly into the Managing Director.

The successful Brand Manager, based in Livingston, will be responsible for developing the brand to reach its full potential and liaising with various stakeholders to maintain product quality.

Key Responsibilities for the Brand Manager based in Livingston:

  • Development of the brand to reach its full potential within the market.
  • Analysis of market trends to include finishes and treatments.
  • Regular analysis of market competition
  • Market reviews on like for like product qualities, range offer, packaging and pricing.
  • Trade Show visits and comparative shopping
  • In house range development presentations
  • Development and initiation of new products and product areas
  • Ensuring the ordering and monitoring of all in product samples, size set samples, photo shoot samples and pre shipment samples in conjunction with the Brand Assistant.
  • Close alliance with current factories and agents
  • Management of current sources and yearly analysis of performance
  • Analysis of returns from customers due to manufacturing faults
  • Liaise with the Marketing Assistant on the management of Merchandising Calendar.

Key Responsibilities for the Brand Manager based in Livingston:

  • Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft applications to process, obtain and combine information - Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Clothing construction experience
