Description
- Assisting the Product Manager daily across all areas of product development and current production.
- Filing of all samples received including lab dips, fabrics, trims and full garment samples.
- Reviewing customer faulty returns to identify issues and possible causes.
- Assisting in AQL review of products; either on new product development shipments or where an issue has been identified with current stock.
- Participating in fit sessions and record fit changes required.
- Building and maintaining technical packs.
- Reviewing lab dips, fabrics, trims and components for both colour and quality.
- Measuring and inspecting samples received from our factories including development samples, size set samples and pre-production samples.
- Arranging fabrics for testing via third party testing facilities.
- Corresponding with our overseas agents and suppliers via email as well as telephone/video conference calls.
- Managing our sourcing teams to ensure timely delivery of necessary samples.
- Maintaining the critical path to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Updating technical documents at the request of the Product Manager where required.
- Maintaining accurate factory certification records.
- Liaising with our distributors and providing technical documentation and information upon request.
- General office tasks when required, the role will also include generating mailings, filing and general tidying.
- Communication with our distributors and customers.
- Dealing with customer enquiries and processing garment returns.
- Updating computer records in excel and word documents.
Profile
Qualifications: Educated to HND level or above or have relevant experience. A clothing technology or fashion qualification is desirable.
Essential Skills:
- Clothing construction experience.
- Confident and clear communication skills; both verbally and written.
- Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft applications with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to plan and organize both familiar and new tasks in an office environment, within a specified deadline.
- Highly organised with good prioritisation skills.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator.
Job Offer
- Hours of work: 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. 1 hour for lunch.
- Holiday entitlement is 21 days per year plus English statutory days.

- Position may require overseas travel to our manufacturing countries.
