CNC Turner - Programmer & Operator
Location: Livingston
Shifts: Rotating early, back, and night shifts

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Turner to join our team in Livingston. We are looking for both programmers and operators with experience using Doosan machines and Fanuc CNC controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate Doosan CNC lathes with Fanuc controls efficiently and safely.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and process sheets to determine machining requirements.
  • Inspect work to ensure adherence to quality standards and perform first-line maintenance checks.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to achieve required tolerances.
  • Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing and process optimisation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in CNC turning, with expertise in Doosan machines and Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience working in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and safe working practices.
  • High level of numerical ability and problem-solving skills.
