My client is currently recruiting for a Site Manager in the Livingston area

This is to work on a Highways project including work with bridges, concrete, and shuttering joinery

This is an ongoing role paying £350 a day outside IR35

This role will include the below duties;

  • Project management: Overseeing the project from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Safety: Ensuring that the project is safe for all workers and that safety regulations are followed.
  • Quality control: Conducting inspections to ensure the project meets quality standards and matches the design.
  • Communication: Working with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
  • Team management: Supervising construction workers and hiring subcontractors.
  • Problem solving: Addressing issues and delays as they arise.
  • Documentation: Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.
  • Budget and cost monitoring: Tracking costs and budgets to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Material ordering: Ordering materials for each phase of the project.

Candidates for this role must have; CSCS, First aid, SMSTS & experience working in the civil sector
