My client are a very well established, Scottish based IT company and are the partner of choice for many leading organisations. They are currently looking for a Systems Engineer to be based at one of their clients in Livingston.

You will be responsible for -
  • Carrying out daily checks of their general IT environment
  • Providing End User IT Support - Responding to issues raised by users either by email, face to face or through their ticketing system when required
  • General Hardware (break / fix)
  • Liaise with the parent company where necessary
  • Be involved with onsite IT projects including upgrades
  • Provide 24 hour 7 days per week on call cover on rotation

Skills and Experience -
  • Strong communication skills together with a sound IT background.
  • Knowledge of IT First Line Support also essential.
  • Happy to learn and take instruction from fellow IT Professionals.
  • A good team player who is consciousness, punctual and willing to learn is essential.
  • Driving licence
