Maintenance Engineer required for a manufacturing company who specialise in industrial containment solutions based in Livingston. The ideal candidate will come from a Mechanical and Electrical background and currently be working in a similar position.
Maintenance Engineer Job Overview
- Maintenance and repair of all production plant equipment.
- Electrical Installations / upgrades / remedials.
- Responding to unplanned repairs and breakdowns
- Monitoring, fault diagnosing and repair of equipment.
- Undertaking preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing & facility equipment.
- Assisting in the planning of scheduled maintenance.
- Provide support to Sales, specifying and obtaining costings for, Heating, Lighting, A/Cs as required.
- Produce BOMs for Production Electrics as required.
- Travel as required for nationwide projects.
- Participate in 24-hour emergency call out service and be available to carry out emergency repair work on site.
Maintenance Engineer Job Requirements
- Clear understanding of H&S regulation and safe systems of work
- Knowledge of electrical/ mechanical installation and production machinery maintenance.
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification)
- 17th or 18th Edition of BS7671
- Occasional Site Working / Shift Working
Maintenance Engineer Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
