Day to Day Duties

Working as a Maintenance Service Engineer for our client your duties will be:

  • Ensure the production lines are safe to operate, resolving problems whilst pro actively identifying potential hazards and near misses
  • Follow and improve preventative maintenance plans with the aim of reducing unplanned down time
  • Identify root cause investigations for
  • Be involved in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement activities
  • Assist with relevant project work where maintenance involvement is required
  • Ensure line efficiency is improved through timely repair, maintenance and improvement of equipment


Essential Skills

As an Maintenance Service Engineer it is essential that you:

  • Can tackle planned and breakdown maintenance of equipment, ensuring it is carried out in a safe, timely and efficient manner
  • Minimizing equipment down-time and improving production efficiency
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills


Desirable Experience

  • Experience with pneumatics & hydraulics would be advantageous
  • Work closely with other engineering team and the production team to ensure that the business objectives are met


Training

  • Relevant training provided and additional support throughout
