At STEM Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Production Planner based in Livingston.
As a Production Planner, you would be responsible for the creation, modification and management of the manufacturing production schedules. This will include the appropriate monitoring/feedback to ensure production orders are completed on time. You will also proactively focus on identifying and implementing improvements in the approach, tools, operating rhythm, and communication around the planning process.
Other key aspects of the role will include:
- Review forecasts, orders and liaise with sales team to determine customer requirements
- Develop understanding of materials, costs, manufacturing equipment, and the size of workforce needs to manufacture our products
- Create visibility and manage structure related to material and labour lead times to ensure customer delivery times are met
- Analyse and prepare reports about planning process performance that suggest ways to improve efficiency
