  • The role involves designing forgings, tools, and dies, as well as manufacturing complex metal components for prestigious blue-chip customers.

  • Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4:15pm and Friday from 8am to 3pm, and the role is site-based.

  • The role will be responsible for the design of forgings, tools and dies to meet customer requirements
  • Design and manufacture of complex metal components and supply products worldwide to prestigious blue-chip customers.
  • This will involve the production of all necessary drawings and documentation to support, as well as the recommendation and implementation of any system modifications.
  •  The role is also responsible for compiling working manuals and records to allow forging operations to be effectively carried out.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Candidates should have an Engineering Degree, preferably in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 4 years relevant experience gained within an engineering business.
  • Candidates should have prior experience within a design role, strong knowledge of 3D CAD software (preferably Creo)
  • you must have strong IT skills, to include Mini Tab and preferably Power BI.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with metals and basic metallurgy knowledge would be advantageous
